Step 1

Strategic Direction

They wanted to quickly and iteratively polish their brand. So instead of a protracted branding exercise, we used aspirational examples and pain points to efficiently triangulate our direction.

Step 2

Foundation

COA was ready for a brand identity that showcased the caliber of it’s product, team, and technology. We adopted a three-level approach for color, iconography, and illustration. Including a flexible system with clearly defined parameters for usage when it comes to size, scale, color, and level of complexity.

In a field of outdated,
code-only and rigid GUI tools, their node-based UI set their product apart — so we built the brand around the star of the show: the node.

Nodes and their connecting lines became a core element of the brand’s graphic language.

Using it as a container and structural element constantly reinforced it as a core feature to their clientele of data scientists.

Step 3

Extension

Once we had a style established, we further extended it throughout their website visuals and marketing campaigns.

Ongoing

As their creative & dev team, we handle all elements of their primary, event and campaign marketing assets.

From web design and event branding to resource library assets, promotional swag, team business cards, slide decks, and beyond. Even using AI to design an in-person mascot costume.
